Physical Therapist

Connor Dougherty, PT, DPT, CSCS, Cert. BFR, Cert.VRS, ASTYM cert.

I recently just moved to the Pacific Northwest and am originally from Boston, MA. I am a graduate from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences where I earned my Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018. Prior to that, I received my Bachelor of Exercise Physiology degree, minoring in Nutrition from University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2014. I am also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA).

Throughout my doctorate program and undergraduate experience, I worked as a Strength and Conditioning performance coach and personal trainer to athletes of all ages focusing on improving sport performance and return to sport activities at the Parisi Speed School. As a lifelong athlete myself in football and lacrosse, I take great pride in getting athletes back to their sport with an emphasis on maximizing performance while preventing future injuries. I have a wide range of clinical experiences in both the acute care and outpatient orthopedic settings. My treatments incorporate evidence-based practice with manual therapy techniques to best enhance the quality of my patient’s lives.

I am very passionate in continuing my own education to better serve the patients, clients and athletes I work with. I recently completed the Owens Recovery Science course on Blood Flow Restriction Rehabilitation and hope to sit for his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist Certification in the future.

As a strong believer in practicing what you preach, when not in the clinic you can often find me working on my Olympic style Weightlifting, playing sports with friends, watching the office or outdoors enjoying the Pacific Northwest.
