Katie Wakin

I’m Katie Wakin, a proud Pacific Northwest native who maintains that the PNW is the most beautiful corner of the world. With my husband and two incredible boys, I’ve momentarily traded camping and backpacking adventures—like winning the Enchantments lottery four times and conquering a grueling 6-day trek along Six Ridge in the Olympics—for being at the baseball fields and jazz band concerts. As a family of sports enthusiasts, I’m my oldest son’s biggest fan (he’s a varsity catcher for his high school and travel team), we love college football and Seattle Baseball the most!  I love to geek out over music history with my youngest or take him to concerts as much as possible. Guilty Pleasure? The instant zen of pressure washing! My biggest personal passion is photography, chasing the light and finding the magic from the forest floor on up! As a life long athlete and outdoor enthusiast, I have sustained an injury or two – and that has fueled my passion for physical therapy! I am a firm believer in its power to help people bounce back even stronger, ready to chase what they love!
