Physical Therapist Assistant

Biography:

Caleb Burris, PTA

LOCATION: SPT – Bellevue

Born in southern California and raised in Minnesota, I am the youngest of 3 with two brothers that are 6 and 9 years older than myself. Having followed in their footsteps I participated in athletics at a very young age and my interest in sports only grew as the years went by. I completed my undergraduate degree in Exercise Science in 2017 from the University of Minnesota, Duluth which is nestled on the hillside of the shores of Lake Superior. I decided to continue with additional education by completing an Associates degree in Physical Therapy in 2020 from St. Catherine University located in the Minnesota capitol city of St. Paul.

Recently, my partner Emily and I decided to take the leap and move from Minnesota to the beautiful state of Washington. Our love of hiking, camping, and anything relating to the great outdoors has left us with a ton of excitement as the opportunities to explore this area are endless. When I am not in the clinic, I enjoy hiking and camping near and far which includes my favorite spots like the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina, Minnesota’s North Shore, and North Cascades National Park here in Washington. I also enjoy music and many sports with hockey being a favorite of mine. As a lifelong Minnesota sports fan, I can tell you it has been painful, but my fandom will continue nonetheless. I do plan on cheering for most of the teams here in Washington, but the Seahawks might take some convincing. I’d love for us to put our differences in fandom aside and get to work on helping you reach your rehab goals!
